Due to utility work at the site, the Fort Toulouse campground in Wetumpka is currently closed to visitors until further notice.
Fort Toulouse/Fort Jackson Historic Site will be undergoing major improvements to the power, water, and server systems in the next few months. The campground should be open by March 1, 2010.
The Visitor Center will be open 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. on weekends and from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. during December and January.
